Designate at least one heir who will receive crypto access

Create a 'crypto letter' to include with your will

Instructions your executor can follow. Do not include keys in the letter itself.

Choose a trusted person to hold one shard of your access key

Shamir's Secret Sharing requires 2-of-3 to unlock. One person alone can't access it — and one person's death doesn't destroy it.

Update your plan after any major life change

New wallet, new heir, new relationship, new jurisdiction. Set a calendar reminder to review annually.
